Activity Timings + Restrictions
- Your booking time is your arrival time. If you are late, we may need to rebook you.
- Allow extra time for travel, parking, walking to reception, and checking in.
- Delays may occur due to weather conditions, wind changes, or nervous participants. We appreciate your understanding.
Age + Weight Requirements
- All participants must fall within activity-specific weight and height limits to ensure equipment fits correctly. You will be weighed at reception on arrival. Please refer to our refund policy if you do not meet these requirements.
- All participants under 16 must be accompanied onsite by a parent or guardian (18+).
- Safeguarding ratio: 1 adult per 4 children under 12.
- Children under 10 are often too light for activities — please weigh them before booking.
- Only participants are permitted in activity operating areas; separate viewing areas are available for spectators.

⚠️ Due to rising energy costs, Hangloose reserves the right to apply a surcharge for this activity. If required, the surcharge must be paid in advance. Failure to pay may result in withdrawal of the activity, in which case a refund will be provided.
Wild Swimming
Minimum Age: 18Tow float required for all swimmers.
Wetsuits are mandatory when water temperature is below 12°C (available to hire onsite if needed).
Participants must be able to swim 100m unaided.
Inflatable Aqua Park
Minimum Age: 7Minimum Height: 1.2m
Ages 7–10 must be accompanied by an adult (1:3 ratio).
Buoyancy aids are mandatory (provided).
Participants must be able to swim 50m unaided.
Wetsuits required in water below 12°C (available to hire or bring your own).
Participants must be in good overall health, with no conditions aggravated by vigorous activity.
This activity carries an inherent element of risk.

Health and Fitness
All participants must be reasonably fit and healthy. Our activities involve limited physical activity but are considered adventurous, which means there is always a small risk of injury, particularly if instructions are not followed.
If you are pregnant, we strongly advise against taking part in any activity.
If you suffer from any of the conditions listed below, please consult your Doctor before booking. You must also inform your instructor and confirm that your Doctor has cleared you to participate:
- Any medical condition requiring medication to be carried with you
- Recent surgeries
- Neck, back, shoulder, or chest injuries
- Epilepsy, recent fits, or blackouts
- Severe/recurrent disabling giddiness or vertigo
- Heart conditions requiring medication
Removable hearing aids and medication must be secured in our provided bags. Please inform your instructor immediately.
Restrictions by activity:
Skywire: Not permitted if you have undergone a tracheostomyGiant Swing: Not permitted with a stoma bag implant (please inform staff of other conditions in advance)
Outdoor Skydive: Not permitted with shoulder injuries
A waiver will be sent prior to your booking to determine eligibility for specific activities.
For safety reasons, participation is not permitted if you are suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refunds will be issued in this case.
Clothing and Baggage
Participants are responsible for wearing suitable clothing for both the weather and the activity. Clothing may be subject to wear and tear.
Restrictions:
To avoid harness chafing: trousers or knee-length shorts are required.Tops must cover shoulders — crop tops, strappy tops, vests, and tank tops are not permitted.
Footwear must be closed-toe, flat, and secure — no sandals, flip-flops, high heels, or slip-ons.
Clothing items will be available to purchase onsite if requirements are not met.
All pockets (including zip, buttoned, and hidden) must be emptied.
Lockers are provided for bags and valuables, but Hangloose Adventure accepts no responsibility for their safety or security.
Memberships
We offer annual and monthly memberships for Wild Swimming. Memberships are non-refundable.
- Monthly membership: minimum 3-month term, automatically renews each month. To cancel, you must notify us at least 14 days before your renewal date.
Note: Subscriptions and memberships are excluded from all promotional and concession discounts due to their auto-renewal nature.
Referral Scheme
Eligibility:
The referral must be an active Hangloose Bluewater member for at least one month at the time of referral.Referral Requirements:
The referred friend must sign up for a monthly or annual membership at Hangloose Bluewater.Referrals must be declared at the time of sign-up. Late referrals will not be accepted.
Reward:
Verified referrals earn the referrer one sauna session voucher (valid for one person).Vouchers will be issued via email or in person after confirmation.
Limitations:
One voucher per successful referral (multiple referrals may earn multiple vouchers).Cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated.
General:
Hangloose Bluewater may amend or withdraw this offer at any time.Misuse of the scheme may result in disqualification.
Photography + Video Footage
By booking, you grant Hangloose Adventure full rights to use photography/video footage for publicity purposes (including print, online, social media, and press).
If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in advance.
Media bundles purchased will include Hangloose branding. Raw, unbranded footage is not available.
Refunds, Cancellation + Moving Policy
- All bookings and vouchers are non-refundable.
If cancelled by Hangloose Adventure (e.g., due to weather):
- You may reschedule, choose an alternative activity (subject to availability), or request a full refund.
If cancelled/changed by you:
- Up to 48 hours before: You may reschedule, postpone, transfer credit, or change location free of charge.
- Within 48 hours: Changes incur a £5 admin fee per person.
- On the day: If you check in but do not complete your activity (e.g., refuse to ride Skywire after harnessing), you may switch to another activity if available.
If you fail to meet Terms & Conditions (e.g., incorrect clothing, age, or weight limits):
- You will be offered an alternative activity, but no refund.
Refunds:
- A 20% admin fee applies unless the refund is due to Hangloose Adventure’s fault.
- Refunds exclude original booking fees and are processed by head office within 14 working days.
- Refunds are not available onsite.
Third-party vouchers are subject to the third-party’s refund policy.
Postponements
Postponed bookings are valid for 6 months. If not rebooked, they will be cancelled without refund.
Partial Refunds for Packages
Refund = Package price – Completed activity price
Example:
- Skywire £59.50
- Swing £44.50
- Package £84.50
If Swing is refunded: £84.50 – £59.50 = £25 refund
Booking Fee
- A £3 booking fee applies per order (excluding water activities, where the fee is included in the price).
- Covers website/telephone service, card commissions, and staff support.
Charged once per transaction, regardless of order size.
Digital Photo + Video Package
- Technical issues with footage can occur. Notify Hangloose within 3 days of your activity if footage is missing or corrupted.
Refunds: Full refunds only if all footage is unavailable.
Check your footage immediately after your experience.
Vouchers + Promotional Codes
- Cannot be combined with other promotions.
- Must not be shared with ineligible third parties.
- Vouchers valid for 12 months. Activity must be booked before expiry.
- Expired vouchers may be extended once for 6 months for a £5 admin fee.
Unsuitable Conduct
- Participants must follow instructor directions.
- Inappropriate behaviour may result in cancellation without refund.
- Entry may be refused to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Damage to company property due to rule-breaking will result in charges.

Not valid for:

- Any water activities (other than Aqua Park)

Other rules:
- Valid only on peak pricing until August 31st.
- Cannot be combined with other discounts (e.g., NHS discount).
Offer may be amended or withdrawn at any time.

- One stamp per qualifying order (see list below).
