Upon your arrival

Some helpful things you might like to know when you get here!

First things first - how are you getting to us?

If you're coming by car then please read on, but if you are using trains or buses, you might want to take a look at the links on this page (and in the menu) for some helpful local information.

Eden Project directions

It's fair to say that not all sat navs are created equal. If you follow the brown signs to the Eden Project from the A30 then you will probably arrive at the main entrance. However, if you follow the postcode (PL24 2SG), you will most likely arrive at the back entrance which is no problem, you may just want to read further on and just familiarise yourself with the site layout.

Site Layout and how to get to us

The Eden Project has  extensive signage indicating it's parking areas. As the car-parks fill up A-frames and stewards are posted around the site indicating the next car-park to use.

You can either walk down to the Eden Project visitor entrance and ticket desks or take a free park and ride bus. Unfortunately, no overnight parking is permitted. Once there, you will see signs to Hangloose Adventure, you do not need to pay for entrance to the Eden Project in order to come to Hangloose Adventure.

Visitors are welcome to park motorhomes or campervans in the car park, and Eden can accommodate these in their coach park if they are oversized.

There is also shaded car parking for dog owners.

Electric vehicle charging points

Superfast charging points

You can also access a rapid 50kW point in Melon car park, which is available for public use during Eden’s opening hours, and which customers pay to use. It is operated through ChargePoint Genie, with whom car owners must register to make use of the charging point. You can see online when this and other local charging points are in use/available.

It’s part of a new network of fast and superfast electric vehicle charging points across Cornwall, Plymouth and West Devon. Find out more on the Cornwall Council website.

For more information about the payment mechanism or to report a charger fault, please call ChargePoint Genie on 020 3598 4087. Phones are operated 24/7.
